Workshops & Play Spaces
The Workshops:
To cope with the growing numbers of guests, this year’s xplore offers 59 workshops, lectures and performances in four different seminar rooms.
In addition to the xplore typical workshops on sexuality, body work, BDSM and theme related performances we enrich our menu with a series of lectures on queer, SM- and eco-sexual perspectives.
Here an overview:
IMPORTANT: Please read the notes at the end of this page carefully! We would also like to ask every participant to bring an own large (sauna) towel with as a pad! Thanks a lot!
The listed workshops are subject to change without special notice.
The Play Spaces:
As last year's PLAY SPACES were very well received, we will also this year offer opportunities for free play and self created action. Three spaces with a different focus - MASSAGE & ROPE BONDAGE, ROLE PLAY & RITUAL, SOUND & SILENCE - will offer unusual individual experiences, as well as an opportunity to reflect, process and rest.

SILENT SPACE – CONCERT & PLAYGROUND
(Fri+Sat 1pm-9pm, Sun 1pm-7pm)
This is a former industrial space suffused with light. Inspired by the concept OCEAN OF OTHER, the monthly new moon play party at schwelle7, light and sound create a concentrated atmosphere for individual processes, collective actions and deep play. Three exceptional musicians provide tempo, rhythm and color for an ever-changing celebration.
ATTENTION: This is a silent space. No verbal expression, communication only by little notes and messages. To underline the special atmosphere some dressing up (white or light colors) is required.
Installation, Soundscapes and Silence Keeper: Felix Ruckert

GURU SUPERMARKET
(Fri+Sat 3pm-9pm, Sun 1pm-7pm)
Following the success of last year’s KINGDOM Felix Ruckert - in collaboration with Anna Natt - has designed a new role play scenario that addresses manipulation and abuse of power within the framework of ideologies and belief systems. In a bazaar of diverse realities, more than 20 different gurus and other qualified executives will found ashrams, institutions and sweatshops. They will preach and seduce, gather and educate students, enlighten disciples with secret teachings, offer services – and of course, demand tribute in return! There will be no shortage of initiation rites and blessings, indoctrination and enlightenment, mindfuck and assault...maybe even doubt and rebellion?
The Guru Supermarket is an opportunity for a playful exploration of symbols, rituals, charisma, status, hierarchies, group dynamics and relationships of interdependancy.
Concept: Felix Ruckert
Art Director & Casting: Anna Natt
Technic: Alexander Skoluda
Performer: Anna Natt, a.o.
IMPORTANT ADVICES:
Unless otherwise specified, no workshops require nudity or fetish outfit. For most workshops loose fitting, comfortable clothes are appropriate.
All workshops are learner-centred and for every-body. Even though some workshops may be quite physical, sexual contact as such is in no way required to participate and enjoy.
As the event is designed for adults we must emphasise the importance of consideration and self responsibility. Therefore it is obvious that all interactions should be related to the basic principle of SAFE - SANE - CONSENSUAL and practised by Safer Sex. We will ban anyone immediately from the entire festival who offend against this rule, acts reckless or even gets molesting.
Please note: At some workshops it is asked to bring own material (blankets, towels, wash bowls, yoga mats, meditation pads or cushions etc.) - Please check on the respective workshop pages!
